The three key elements of MY METHOD

Dedicated to all entrepreneurs pondering the possibility of venturing into the senior housing sector and wanting to fully understand what this decision entails. My personalized counseling could be the help to make this desire tangible. My goal is to offer comprehensive support during all stages of the process.

PHASE 1

My approach begins with a free consultation, a time to share ideas and evaluate the project together. This initial phase is critical to fully understand what the needs and expectations are so that a path can be developed that reflects the business goals especially for property development.

PHASE 2

It concerns the project feasibility analysis phase. Using my extensive experience in the field, we will carefully evaluate all aspects, including financial, regulatory and market aspects. This will provide the entrepreneur with a solid foundation on which to build the business, ensuring that it is sustainable and successful in the long term.

STEP 3

And the operational phase. At this final moment, I will follow the implementation of the initial idea step by step: from the design of the facility to the selection of staff and the start of operations. I will be there to make sure every detail is taken care of with the utmost attention.

What are the types of residential and semi-residential facilities in Italy and what are the differences?

  • Retirement Homes
: intended for the elderly who are relatively independent but wish to live in a community where some basic services such as meals, housekeeping and recreational activities are available.

  • Hotel Homes
: similar to nursing homes, but with self-contained apartments and common areas, aim for a mix of independence and community, with medical care provided by the district health service.

  • Housing Communities
: offer a residential environment that combines independence with support in daily activities. These facilities are designed for elderly people who need assistance and support to live independently, providing safety and comfort as well as recreational and social activities.

  • Nursing homes (RSAs):
offer 24-hour medical and nursing care to elderly people with severe physical or cognitive limitations who are unable to manage themselves independently in daily life.

  • Housing with Services
: a residential option that combines the autonomy of a private home with the availability of personalized services and assistance. The elderly may live in apartments or small houses within a complex that offers services such as res-toring, health care and recreational activities.

  • Co-housing for the Elderly
: a form of collective housing that emphasizes community and mutuality. Elders share common spaces and resources, promoting a collaborative lifestyle while maintaining private living spaces.

  • Assisted Living
: provides an inter-medium level of care, offering assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and administering medications, as well as services such as meals, cleaning, and recreational activities.

  • Sheltered Housing
: apartments or small housing units that provide a protected environment and some forms of as-sistence, while allowing the elderly to maintain some independence.

  • Temporary Stay Units
: facilities that offer temporary stays for elderly people who need a period of rehabilitation or temporary care, often after hospitalization.

  • Day Care Centers
: semi-residential facilities that offer care during the day to older people, providing health, social, and recreational services, allowing older people to remain in their own community.
